We offer several programs for students and the public which aim to contextualize our performances, demystify the creative process, break down common misconceptions about contemporary dance, and make the art form accessible to a wide range.

Designed to give students a taste of contemporary dance from both sides of the curtain and to show the breadth of the company’s diverse repertoire, Studio Series comprises a 45 minute performance for students in the Winchester Street Theatre, followed by a 60 minute movement class are team taught by TDT Company members.Get ready to exercise your body and mind!
These special student performances are introduced and contextualized by Artistic Director Christopher House and include time for dialogue between artists and the audience. No previous dance experience required.

TDT celebrates its fiftieth anniversary with Glass Fields, a program of premieres inspired by Christopher House's acclaimed masterwork Glass Houses ( 1983). This exhilarating program kicks off with the original production followed by premieres from an outstanding quintet of creators: Amanda Acorn, Jasmyn Fyffe, Hanna Kiel, Tedd Robinson and House.

MASTER CLASS WORKSHOP
Master Classes can be scheduled by request throughout the year or in conjunction with a student matinee. Classes are designed by our experienced instructors to meet the needs of your students, from complete beginner to advanced, or multilevel. Master Classes may cover company repertoire, composition and/or improvisation.
All Master Classes are accompanied by a live musician and are 90 minutes long.
